A free screening of the 1990 Academy Award winner, "American Dream," will be held Wednesday, Nov. 19, at the University of Minnesota.

The documentary by Barbara Kopple chronicles the mid-1980s strike at Hormel Foods in Austin, Minn. The screening will start at 6 p.m. in Room 100 of Rapson Hall, on the university's East Bank campus. View map. It will be followed by a discussion with labor historian Peter Rachleff.
